These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the WaterLeak.ae website and WhatsApp intake desk. Please read them carefully before requesting a referral or coordination.

Who we are

WaterLeak.ae operates an urgent coordination desk that connects people and facilities in the United Arab Emirates with independent plumbing, leak detection and related field partners. We are not a licensed contractor for on-site plumbing or detection work unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

We are not the executing party

Any inspection, detection, repair, reinstatement or other physical work is performed by third-party technicians or companies (our “partners”) that you engage with directly after we introduce or coordinate contact. WaterLeak.ae does not carry out the technical scope on your property.

No contract between you and us for field services

The binding agreement for labour, materials, pricing, schedule, access and workmanship is between you and the partner you approve. WaterLeak.ae is not a party to that contract and does not substitute for your own due diligence, building approvals or insurance arrangements.

Responsibility and warranties

Commercial terms, invoices, completion standards, defects liability and workmanship or equipment warranties are issued and honoured by the executing partner, subject to what you agree with them in writing or by message.

If you have a dispute about quality, delays, pricing or warranty coverage, it must be addressed with the partner who performed the work. You may still contact our desk for coordination assistance, but that does not shift legal liability from the partner to WaterLeak.ae.

Due diligence — licences and qualifications

You are solely responsible for verifying the identity, qualifications and valid trade licence (and any other government approvals required for the work) of any service provider before allowing access to the property or authorising work to begin.

WaterLeak.ae does not warrant that partners hold all required government licences, permits or insurances at all times. You must exercise your own judgement and, where appropriate, request copies of documents and confirm them with the relevant UAE authorities or your building management.

Disclaimer — delays and execution

While we aim to route requests quickly, partner availability, traffic, access restrictions, permit rules and site conditions are outside our full control.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law in the UAE, WaterLeak.ae and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage arising from partner delays, non-attendance, negligent or faulty execution, or any indirect or consequential loss (including lost revenue, alternative accommodation costs or utility charges), except where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

In the water-leak context, losses can be severe. Without limiting the foregoing, the platform is not liable for damage arising from failure to detect a leak, delayed detection, deterioration or escalation of a leak, undetected concealed defects, unusually high water or utility bills, loss of or damage to furniture, finishes, equipment or contents, or structural harm to the property allegedly resulting from a partner’s methods or workmanship. These examples are illustrative and not exhaustive.

Limitation of liability — monetary cap

If, notwithstanding the disclaimers in these terms, WaterLeak.ae or its operators are found liable to you under applicable UAE law, the total compensation you may recover from WaterLeak.ae for all claims arising out of or related to coordination or use of the website in connection with a single request or incident shall not exceed the greater of (a) AED 500 (five hundred UAE dirhams) and (b) any service fee, referral fee or commission actually paid by you to WaterLeak.ae for that specific matter, and in any case not beyond the maximum permitted by mandatory provisions of UAE law.

Accuracy of information

Content on this website is for general guidance. It may not reflect the latest partner coverage, pricing or regulatory requirements. You should verify critical facts with your partner and your building management before authorising invasive or costly work.

Use of WhatsApp and forms

By messaging us or submitting details through our channels, you confirm that you have authority to share the information provided and that partners may contact you using the details you supply. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the UAE shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to your use of WaterLeak.ae as a coordination platform, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply.
